Zakopane and Tatra Mountains

TO ZAKOPANE

Meet the guide and transfer to Zakopane (2h).
Guided tour of the city to see the typical wooden houses designed by the Polish artist Witkiewicz, the Peksowy Brzyzek graveyard, and Jaszczurowka’s wooden chapel.

We’ll take a walk through the colorful street of Krupowki, full of traditional-flavoured restaurants and local artisan shops.

Optional: Traditional dinner with regional dish tasting.

ZAKOPANE

Breakfast at the hotel, and guided excursion to Kasprowy Wierch. Reach the top (1987 mt) by cable car and admire the mountain range between Poland and Slovakia. After a break on the summit, hike on the mountain paths and go back down by cable car (or on foot, upon request).

Back to Zakopane and free time.

Optional: Hiking in the National Park of Tatra or Pieniny Mountains. A pathway through alpine mountain lakes and one of the tallest mountains of the High Tatras: Rysy mountain summit (2503 mt above s.l.). More info upon request.

RAFTING ON THE DUNAJEC

Hike the Pieniny Mountains up to the summit of the Three Crowns Massif and start rafting through the Dunajec River gorges. The activity lasts about 2 hours and it can be included in the Zacopane Tour adding about €15.00 / £14 per person
